Gun Safety

Part of my job involves teaching my students about safety--all aspects of it! We discuss pedestrian safety, playground safety, electrical safety, etc. as well as personal safety. Those of us who live in Texas generally take our Second Amendment rights quite seriously. Many of us possess guns in our homes. It's vital that any safety education include gun safety. My thanks to FBS parents Shane and Brittney for taking time from their busy schedule to come and educate my students on gun safety. BTW, the first and most important rule my students learned today was "GUNS ARE NOT TOYS." My students learned something important today and it is my hope that they will share with their families so that we can all be safe.
